Calm Creations: Sketch & Sculpt Sessions for Homeschoolers

Those of you who are already in the class may still book in weekly sessions as needed.

Welcome to Calm Creations, a small-group sketching and sculpting class designed for homeschoolers who thrive in a quieter, more focused environment. With a maximum of just

6 students, this low-sensory session offers space for your child to explore their imagination without the overstimulation often found in traditional classes.

Led by Will Huntley—artist, mentor, and educator with over 35 years of experience—this class gives students the opportunity to create creatures, characters, or story worlds through either sculpture or drawing (and maybe even a bit of short storytelling). Our focus is not just on the art, but also on building independence, resilience, and creative thinking.

What makes this class different?

• Small numbers for a quiet and calm atmosphere
• Options to draw or sculpt in a fully equipped studio
• Mentorship from a seasoned educator and homeschooling ally
• Designed with neurodivergent and sensitive learners in mind
• Character and story creation encouraged (great for reluctant writers!)

For Parents:
We’ve got you covered too. If you work from home or just need a quiet place to catch up on emails, you’re welcome to stay. We provide:

• Free Wi-Fi
• Tables and couches for laptop work
• Coffee and tea facilities on-site
• A fantastic café just one block away if you’d prefer a change of scenery

A quick note:
To maintain a peaceful learning space, we kindly ask that siblings or children not participating either be taken elsewhere or come with a quiet activity such as a book or drawing pad.
