From drone scouts to medical bots, today’s robots are sleek, smart, and loaded with personality. In this hands-on drawing workshop, students will invent their own modern-inspired robot—choosing from a professional-grade selection table of features like power source, materials, tools, mobility, and more.
Led by veteran special effects artist Will Huntley, this session explores how function influences form. Students will sketch thumbnails, develop a final design, and bring their machine to life on paper—complete with color, silhouette, and a short story of what their bot is built for.
Whether it’s a helper, a hunter, or a hybrid AI—this workshop blends design thinking with creative flair, perfect for curious minds who love tech, sci-fi, or building from scratch.
